FINALLY - the social worker in Guatemala has completed her report! Our case will be in PGN tomorrow! It probably could have gone last week, however, Holy Week is a big celebration in Guatemala and all offices were closed on Thursday and Friday. Our attorney took the whole week off. That's okay - everyone needs a vacation - I just wish we could have gotten into PGN before now.
So . . . to all my prayer warriors, please pray that our case will NOT be kicked out of PGN. We do NOT want a previo as this will delay bringing Edison home. A previo is when the reveiwer of PGN finds something wrong with the paperwork, kicks it out and asks you to correct it. We will have to correct whatever they ask - sometimes it is very minor and/or picky - and then present the whole case to PGN again. Please, no Previos! The next prayer request is that our file will go through the PGN review process quickly. It can take from 2 to 12 weeks. Cases have been known to come out in 2 DAYS! I'm not asking for 2 days - I'm just praying for much less than 12 weeks.
My Old Kentucky Home is becoming more of a reality for you, Edison! It would be a wonderful blessing to bring you home before your 1st birthday. Wishful thinking on my part. We will celebrate big when you do come home.
Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, Please No Previos, . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
